BBQ with primary school clique :D

YESTERDAY:

I had loads of FUN with my primary school clique :D
My beloved teacher, Miss Irene Lee, booked a chalet for us at Aloha Loyang, including the food for bbq. All we had to do was to cook, eat, laugh, play, chat. (oh, and watch a bit of Little Nyonya, lol)

I wasn't very excited at first cause the group meets at least three times a year, excluding movies and all. Chinese New Year, Teachers' Day and Christmas.
But I never thought it would be so fun! HAHA :D

We even had a debate (or discussion?) about love. And it was Miss Lee who started it :D
She kept asking about our 'the other half', LOL.
Ever since we turned 16, she has been asking us about our 'the other half' whenever there is a gathering. So in return, Eugene and I asked her about HER 'the other half' and were asking her to get married soon. so yada yada yada, and then she suddenly said this,

Miss Lee: You know, the person that you marry may not be the person that you love most?
Eugene & Isaac: YES! *nods*
Yee Gin: NO! How can you spend the rest of your life with the person that you don't love most?
Miss Lee: Okay, you see ar.. For majority, they were too young to know what love actually is when their first love came.. Then in their life, they may meet a partner who loves he/she more than he/she does, or that they may meet the right person at the wrong time.
Eugene: So it's the timing that determines the person whom you will marry?
Yee Gin: No, I think it's not just about the timing. It's that special feeling that the person gives you and you know for sure that you want to spend the rest of your life with this person, at the right time.
Miss Lee: That's right.

-silence-

Yee Gin: So do you guys believe that if someone truly loves you, he/she would wait for you to think that it's the right time, no matter how long?
Miss Lee: Yes, of course I do.
Yee Gin: (turns to Eugene) See? Good things are worth waiting for...
Eugene: yeah, but you have to realise that guys and girls are different. Sometimes guys just to know that they're special to you.. So it makes their wait bearable.. And good things will be gone if you don't grab hold of them.. Understand Missy?

Just right at this moment, Kelvin hands me two marshmallows and I was saved from the conversation :D

By the way, all (not sure about kelvin & sanpeng) have their 'the other half' except for me. HAHA. that's why they avoided our discussion and went to barbecue food. And we all know Eugene's girlfriend.. So only the two of us were talking to Miss Lee about this.
(it's not that i'm talkative okay.)

Alright, that's about all that I wanted to share.. The rest are about our past and lame stuff that happened last night. So I think it will be boring for my readers since majority of my readers come from my secondary school :D

See you!
