KRANJI CHOIR - LION KING MUSICAL MEDLEY!

K-Singers, We Rock Big Time! :D

Lion King Musical Medley, great success, great relief .

This concert is definitely something worth blogging about . lol.

We started working on this concert since July'o7 . 

but we only pressed on it in around november .

It's amazing how we can come up with something within 4 months or so .

It is neither a very big project nor a small one .

But it is definitely Kranji Choir's first public concert ever .

& to tell you the truth,

Choir, i'm so proud of you (:

even though there were occasional slips in the first half, feedback in the second half,

i am still very proud of you, all of you, from the seniors, to the committee, to the sec ones,

sopranos, altos, tenors & basses . 

of course, the credit doesn't go entirely to us, performers.

i would like to thank all those whom have helped us, in any way.

first on the list, my conductress - Ms Ong Chiak Yin! <3

without her, we are nothing . she planned this concert, came up with the idea, imported the songs from uk, helped with the script, planned the repetoire, got the venue, trained us, initiated saturday practices, bought treats for us . thank you so much Ms Ong, i've learned a lot from you during the process . & it was a great experience working with you, really . i'm sure i've gained a lot of your trust, judging from the number of knocks on my head :P 

the concert is a miracle, & thanks for believing in us :D 

i'm sure i've told you this, thank you for 'flipping the dead fish'. haha .

you never once gave up on us . we love you Ms Ong (:

second - my DEAR Miss Ho, Ms Yong, Miss Low & Ms Lim :D

the above mentioned are my teachers-in-charge . they were the ones who stayed back with us till 7+ whenever we had our long practices, they were the ones who never failed to motivate us with their speeches, they were the ones who told us that they believed in us .

thank you teachers, you made this possible . 

(PS: i learned that miss ho is as emotional as yeegin :P)

third - my dear dear dear danielle, germain, maryann & yanni!

thank you girls, i love you so much can! :D you made me laugh , made me cry, cried with me, gave me faith, hope, support & hugs . i can't imagine managing them without you! 

i can't even imagine singing without all of you . i'm too used to sopranos that i'll never want to change! lol . & not to forget, our bitching session . haha . whoopps . 

thank you for always being there, & sorry for the times i lost my temper .. really .

fourth - my dear committee! :D

my VPs; kheng hian, huisian, joel & jiaying: thank you huisian & kheng hian, you two never fail to motivate me . yes, i will not give up so easily okay? thank you joel & jiaying for the warm-ups! thank you huisian for coming to my house & doing up the booklets with me the night before . really, thanks so much, i wouldn't have done it alone (:

my SLs; danielle, cat, kwong hong & shiyong: thank you for helping out during combined, training them up, correcting their already-corrected mistakes, polishing their notes & everything! 

the rest of the commitee; eekie, szeyun, hazel, beatrice, jieyong, whaiee, maryann, felicia, yanni: i seriously wouldn't have done this without your help . listing all of them out is gonna tire me out . lol . whenever you guys feel stressed out in the future, just remember our bitching sessions kay!~

& camp comm, i haven't forgotten about you . although not really related to the concert, you guys really helped to foster closer bonds & cheering me up when i was at my most stressed-up moment . thanks & i love you guys a lot!

haha . thank you for trying your very best on stage, the sopranos for your melodious high notes, altos for singing out loud, & the guys for trying even when there are like, so few of you .

you didn't disappoint me!~

coming for all the practices since july, cooperating with me, i enjoyed working with you people. 

we worked hard together, cried & laughed together.
