do you know that there is a wall

a very thick wall

between us?

do you know that this wall

this pathetic wall

was built bcos of some misunderstandings?'

do you know that there is a wall

and that i'm trying

to tear this wall down?'

are you aware that i'm trying

trying very hard all by myself

to tear dis pathetic wall down?

are you also aware that i

need you, need you so badly

to tear dis wall down with me?'

wanted to ask if we could start afresh?'

i tried,

and i've torn half of it down
